Are Your Cats Ready For Cat Halloween Costumes? Is Sasha ready for cat Halloween costumes? Looking to turn Sasha the cat into a hula dancer or get her all dolled up in any one of a number of spiffy cat Halloween costumes?
Maybe. Maybe not. You see, a cat in the right frame of mind (or drug induced stupor perhaps) can indeed be persuaded to wear a costume made for a small dog. (Just don't let them know they're wearing dog clothing. That might make them less than willing you know?) Sadly however Most Cats Just Say NO to Cat Halloween CostumesBut alas, I have to warn you that most cats seem to prefer to frolic on Halloween in their own furry birthday suits rather than some less-than-dignified cat Halloween costumes. Which means you can pretty much forget dressing them up in that French maid costume you had your eye on.Can't understand why. Although it might have something to do with the fact that most cats dislike the confined feeling that comes with wearing costumes. Which is probably why you see fewer cat costume ideas floating around. Or homemade cat costume ideas for that matter either. Then too some cats may just be more sensitive. You can tell they feel embarrassed when dressed up. Their dignity and self respect in tatters. So if your cat is adverse to cat Halloween costumes, don't make him wear one. Especially since you may find you've got a feline who WILL allow a festive collar. Alright! And can't you see Fluffy decked out with a black and orange collar with bells on it. Or maybe something in the jester style? This way your cat can still get in on the fun. Even though not quite as much as if they were in disguise in a costume from the pet Halloween costumes cats category.
